All-in-one VoIP gateway

The AudioCodes Mediant 800B combines voice mediation, data routing, WAN access and security in a single desktop or rack-mountable platform. It targets small-to-mid size businesses that need a managed demarcation point for converged services.

Wireless and wired connectivity

The unit supports IEEE 802.11n wireless LAN alongside 10/100/1000Base-T Gigabit Ethernet ports. This dual connectivity lets the gateway serve as a wireless access point while maintaining wired uplinks for critical voice and data traffic.

SMBs needing integrated voice and data

Organisations that want a single box for routing, security and VoIP survivability will fit this model. Buyers who require a SIM card slot for cellular failover or who need a pure session border controller without routing functions should evaluate other options.
