Portable Bluetooth Audio Adapter

This Audiovox adapter adds wireless streaming to any device with a 3.5 mm or RCA input. It operates as a transmitter for TVs or airplane seats and as a receiver for wired speakers or car stereos. Bluetooth 5.3 provides a stable link up to 10 m. The internal battery runs for 16 hours in transmitter mode or 18 hours in receiver mode.

Travelers and Home Listeners

Ideal for flyers who want to use personal headphones with seat-back screens and for anyone streaming music to older hi-fi gear. It pairs two headphones at once for shared listening. Musicians needing instrument-grade latency should choose a dedicated pro-audio interface. Buyers wanting a permanently powered car kit should consider a hard-wired unit.

3.5 mm and RCA Connectivity

The box includes a 3.5 mm aux cable, a 3.5 mm to RCA cable and a 3.5 mm female coupler plus an airline adapter. These let you plug into virtually any analogue audio source or destination without extra purchases. The adapter weighs 0.091 kg and charges via USB-C.

Questions about this item

Does the adapter come with cables for a car stereo and an airplane seat, or do I need to buy them separately?

The box includes a 3.5 mm to RCA cable, a 3.5 mm female-to-female adaptor and an airplane headphone adapter, so no extra cables are required for those connections.

Should I choose the transmitter mode or the receiver mode for streaming phone audio to my car radio?

Use RX mode to receive audio from a phone and send it to the car radio via the 3.5 mm or RCA output.

What does the 10 m Bluetooth 5.3 range mean when the adapter is installed behind a dashboard?

The 10 m figure is an open-space maximum; metal panels and wiring behind the dash will reduce the practical range.
