Audiovox DS7708 Hands-free 2D Laser Scanner

The Audiovox DS7708 is a hands-free wired barcode scanner built for countertop use. Its 2D laser engine reads common symbologies from printed labels and mobile screens. A USB cable is included for a direct host connection. The unit is supplied new and ready for deployment.

Suited to fixed retail and logistics stations

This scanner suits fixed retail checkouts, pharmacy counters and warehouse packing benches where hands-free scanning speeds throughput. It is not suited to mobile workers who need a cordless or ruggedised device. Buyers who need on-counter presentation scanning with a stand should verify mounting options separately.

USB wired interface decides compatibility

The single specification that decides fit is the USB wired interface; the host must provide a free USB port and driver support for HID or virtual COM operation. No wireless, Bluetooth or proprietary industrial connectors are present. Confirm the host OS recognises USB HID barcode input before purchase.
