Compatible iPhone models

This charger kit works with iPhone 14, 13, 12, 11, X, XR and XS series devices. It does not support iPhone 15, 16 or 17 models. The set includes a 20W USB-C power adapter and a 10ft USB-C to Lightning cable. Buyers with newer iPhones need a different charging solution.

Charging speed spec

The USB-C adapter delivers 20W output using PD 3.0 protocol. It can charge supported iPhones up to 50% in 30 minutes, which is three times faster than a legacy 5W charger. The cable also supports 480 Mbps data transfer when connected to a computer. No higher wattage or faster standard is provided by this kit.

Installation and common issues

Plug the adapter into a mains socket and connect the Lightning end to the iPhone. The MFi-certified cable contains an authentication chip that ensures iOS compatibility. A frequent problem is attempting to use the kit with iPhone 15 or later models, which require USB-C connectors instead of Lightning. The 10ft length may create cable clutter in tight spaces.

Questions about this item

How fast will the 20 W USB-C charger fill an iPhone 14 battery in daily use?

The 20 W PD 3.0 block can push an iPhone 14 to roughly 50 % in 30 minutes, noticeably quicker than the old 5 W adapter.

What does the USB-C PD 3.0 port actually limit when I plug in the supplied cable?

The port delivers up to 20 W for iPhone 12 through 14 models; it will not fast-charge iPhone 15 or later because those require a different power profile.

What clearance do I need for the 10 ft cable and charger brick on a nightstand?

The cable stretches 10 ft with a male-to-male USB-C to Lightning design, so allow that length plus the compact adapter body for a tidy setup.
