Built for 8K and High-Frame Gaming

The Austere VII Series 8K HDMI cable supports 48Gbps bandwidth for 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 120Hz. It carries Dynamic HDR and eARC for Dolby TrueHD Atmos audio. Silver-plated conductors and gold contacts resist corrosion. The 1.5m length suits typical living-room or desktop runs.

Locking Connectors and Flexible Armour

LinkFit locking connectors grip the port to prevent accidental disconnection. WovenArmor Kevlar-reinforced jacket protects the cable while staying pliable for tight bends behind cabinets. The all-metal housing adds durability without adding bulk that blocks adjacent ports.

Check Port Version and Cable Run Before Buying

Verify your source and display both have HDMI 2.1 ports to unlock the full 48Gbps feature set. Ensure a 1.5m reach covers the distance between devices without tension. Buyers needing longer runs or in-wall ratings should look for a different length or CL-rated cable.

Questions about this item

What bandwidth does the HDMI 2.1 interface support on this 1.5 m cable?

The cable meets the Ultra High Speed HDMI specification with 48 Gbps bandwidth, enabling 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz.

What physical space is needed to route the cable and seat the locking connectors?

The cable measures 59.06 inches long with a 1.97 inch diameter; the all-metal LinkFit connectors add a locking fit that requires a straight insertion path.

How do you correctly engage the LinkFit locking mechanism during installation?

Push each connector straight in until the internal latch clicks; twisting or angled insertion prevents the lock from seating and can damage the gold contacts.
