Measures DC current up to 200 A via 50 mV shunt with 14 mm red LED display showing 0 to 199.9
The Autonics M4W-DA-7 is a digital panel meter designed for electricians who need to monitor direct current in industrial or automation panels. It accepts a 200A/50mV shunt input and presents the reading on a 3½-digit 7-segment LED display with 14mm character height. The unit functions as an indicator only, providing local visual confirmation of current flow without additional output signals. It suits control-cabinet installations where a dedicated DC current readout is required.
The meter ships calibrated for a 200A/50mV shunt, so the installer does not need to configure scaling or purchase a separate transducer for that specific ratio. This fixed input specification simplifies wiring in new builds and ensures the 0 to 199.9 display range matches the shunt output directly. No software, programming cables or auxiliary power modules are bundled; the device operates as a standalone indicator once the shunt leads are connected.
The single specification that determines compatibility is the 200A/50mV shunt requirement. Panels using a different shunt ratio, an AC current source, or a need for analog or digital output cannot use this meter. Buyers who require configurable scaling, data logging, or communication protocols should select a different model.

The meter reads the shunt’s 50mV signal directly; as long as the shunt connections stay clean and tight, no internal calibration is required and the shunt itself is a passive component with no wear items.
The 3½-digit LED caps the reading at 199.9 A, so any current above that simply cannot be displayed even if the 200 A shunt could handle it.
The indicator-only meter draws only the power needed for the 14mm LED segments, producing negligible heat inside a panel enclosure.
