Converts Wii analog video to 1080p HDMI for modern displays with plug-and-play simplicity
The AUTOUTLET EFU140 converts analog video and audio from a Wii or Wii U console into a digital HDMI signal for modern displays. It connects directly to the console’s multi-out port and provides an HDMI male plug on a fixed 150cm cable. No external power supply or driver installation is required for operation.
This adapter suits owners of original Wii or Wii U consoles who want a simple HDMI connection to a current television, monitor or projector. It does not upscale or enhance the native 480i, 480p or 576i resolution beyond the source signal. Buyers seeking internal scanline processing, upscaling to higher resolutions or separate audio breakout should consider dedicated upscaling devices instead.
The converter transmits the console’s original 480i, 480p and PAL 576i display modes without alteration. Some 240p or 480i titles require the Wii system setting to be changed to 480p for a stable HDMI picture. This native resolution pass-through is the specification that determines whether the device meets the user’s display expectations.

The converter has a fixed 150cm HDMI male cable. You only need to provide an HDMI cable from the converter to your display if the built-in length is insufficient.
Model EFU140 is the only version listed and supports 1080P full HD output for Wii and Wii U.
No. The converter changes the analog 480i or 480p signal to digital HDMI without increasing resolution; 1080P is the output format, not an upscale.
