2-in-4-out KVM for dual-PC workstations

The AUTYUE 204DH lets two computers share four monitors and four USB 3.0 peripherals through two HDMI and two DisplayPort outputs. It supports resolutions up to 8K at 60 Hz when 8K-rated cables are used. Switching is handled by front-panel push buttons or the included wired remote. A 12 V DC power adapter is supplied for stable operation.

Verify port mix and cable length before buying

Each computer must provide three DisplayPort and one HDMI connection to drive all four screens simultaneously. USB 3.0 cables from the switch to each PC are required for keyboard, mouse and other peripherals to function. The manufacturer recommends keeping HDMI and DisplayPort cables at or below two metres for reliable 8K signalling. No drivers are needed for basic operation.

Fits setups that need quad-display extend

In extend mode windows can be dragged across the four monitors; in copy mode the primary screen is mirrored to the second output. Four USB 3.0 ports on the switch share printers, scanners or storage at up to 5 Gbps. The compact 4.72 x 2.76 x 2.36 inch chassis can be tucked under a desk while the wired remote stays within reach. The package includes two USB 3.0 cables, the power adapter, the remote and a user manual.

Questions about this item

What cables and accessories are included, and which ones must be purchased separately?

The box contains the KVM switch, two USB 3.0 cables, a 12 V power adapter, a wired remote and a user manual. You still need to supply four video cables — three DisplayPort and one HDMI per computer — and any USB 3.0 cables long enough to reach each PC.

How do I decide between the available resolutions such as 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 144 Hz?

Choose 8K at 60 Hz only if every monitor, computer and cable in the chain is rated for 8K; otherwise 4K at 144 Hz is the practical ceiling for most current hardware.

What does the 8K at 60 Hz claim mean when the switch is installed in a real system?

It is the maximum supported video mode; achieving it requires 8K-rated HDMI and DisplayPort cables no longer than two metres, plus source and display hardware that also handle 8K at 60 Hz.
