Users switch between systems using front-panel buttons, a 1.5 metre wired remote or RS232 at 115200 baud. It targets multi-system operators who need simultaneous keyboard, mouse and storage access across several PCs.

HDMI 2.0 Bandwidth and EDID Limits

Video passes through an HDMI 2.0 path capped at 4K 60 Hz, with backward compatibility for 4K 30 Hz and 2560×1440 120 Hz. Each computer requires two HDMI cables and one USB link, so eight HDMI leads are needed for a full four-system setup. EDID simulation preserves window layout during switching but can be disabled if a display handshake fails.

Four-System Capacity and Peripheral Headroom

The switch handles four computers sharing two screens and four USB 3.0 devices at 5 Gbps, with USB 2.0 and 1.1 fallback. A 12 V 2 A adapter is mandatory for stable operation.
