Dual-computer dual-monitor control

The AUTYUE AT-SW223 is a DisplayPort KVM switch that lets one keyboard, one mouse and two monitors drive two separate computers. It targets professionals and enthusiasts who need to keep two systems active on a single desk without constantly swapping cables. The switch handles video routing and USB peripheral sharing in one compact unit.

Check your ports and cables before buying

Both computers must each provide two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs and both monitors must accept DisplayPort input. An 8K 60 Hz signal requires 8K-capable sources, 8K-capable displays and a 4K-rated cable; otherwise the link falls back to 4K 120 Hz, 2K 144 Hz or 1080p. The unit ships with a 12 V power adapter, so a free mains socket is needed.

Two display modes and four USB 3.0 ports

Duplicate mode mirrors the same image on both screens while extended mode spreads the desktop across them, giving flexibility for multitasking or presentation setups. Four USB 3.0 ports running at up to 5 Gbps let keyboards, mice, printers, scanners or external drives stay connected to the switch and follow the active computer. Switching is done by front-panel push buttons or the included wired remote.

Questions about this item

Does the AT-SW223 come with all cables needed to connect two computers and two monitors, or must I buy extra DisplayPort leads?

The box contains the KVM unit, two USB 3.0 data cables, a 12 V power adapter, a wired remote kit and a manual. DisplayPort cables for the four video links are not included.

Should I choose this 2-port model or look for a 4-port version if I only have two computers?

This model is built for exactly two computers and two monitors, each computer needing two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs and each monitor a DisplayPort input. A larger switch would add unused ports and cost.

What does the 8K60 4K120 rating mean when I plug in my actual PC and screens?

You will see 8K at 60 Hz only if both the computer and the monitor support 8K60 and a certified 4K cable is used; otherwise the switch falls back to 4K120, 2K144 or 1080P.
