Controls two computers across dual monitors at up to 8K@30Hz or 4K@144Hz with four USB 3.0 ports and a wired remote
This DisplayPort KVM switch lets one keyboard, mouse and dual-monitor setup control two computers or laptops. It supports extended and mirror modes across both screens and provides four USB 3.0 ports for shared peripherals such as printers or storage devices.
The unit draws power from the connected USB cables and runs without a separate supply under normal loads. When high-draw USB devices are attached, the included 5 V DC adapter can be connected to maintain stable operation.
Users who currently duplicate monitors, input devices and USB hubs for two machines can consolidate to a single workstation. The jump is worthwhile when desk space, cable clutter or the need to switch between systems in seconds outweighs the 7680 x 4320 resolution ceiling.

Connect each computer using one USB 3.0 cable and one DisplayPort cable, plug the monitors into the switch outputs, attach the wired remote, and use the included 5 V power cable when a high-power USB device or a laptop docking station is used — the external power step is the one most often skipped.
No scheduled maintenance is required; if the wired remote or any of the four supplied cables become damaged they can be replaced with standard USB 3.0 or DisplayPort cables, and the 5 V DC power adapter can be swapped for any 5 V unit with the same plug polarity.
The switch tops out at 4K 144 Hz per monitor, so running both displays at that resolution and refresh rate is the maximum sustained video load; higher resolutions such as 8K drop to 30 Hz, and USB 3.0 data stays at 5 Gbps.
