Hybrid KVM for Four Computers

The AUTYUE KVM402C lets one pair of monitors, a keyboard, a mouse and other USB 3.0 peripherals serve four computers at once. It accepts a USB-C laptop with 100 W power delivery, two DisplayPort desktops, a mixed DisplayPort and HDMI desktop, and a dual-HDMI desktop. Switching is instant via front-panel buttons or the 1.5 m wired remote.

Passive Cooling and External Power

The unit runs without fans, so it adds no audible noise to a quiet workspace. A 12 V DC adapter supplies steady power for reliable video and USB operation across all four ports. Typical draw stays low because the switch only routes signals rather than processing them.

Bundled Cables and EDID Control

The box includes one USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 cable, three USB 3.0 cables, the wired remote, the power adapter and a manual. An EDID ON/OFF dial lets you lock or release display identifiers, preventing resolution resets when you switch between the laptop and the three desktops.

Questions about this item

How do I connect my USB-C laptop so it charges at 100W while driving both monitors?

Plug a USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 cable into the Laptop port and your original PD 100W charger into the PC1--PD/100W port; the switch then delivers up to 100W to the laptop while passing dual 4K 60Hz video.

What cables or adapters will I need to replace if a port fails after heavy use?

The box includes one USB-C cable, three USB 3.0 cables and a 1.5 m wired remote; monitors connect via your own DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.0 cables, so only the supplied USB leads and remote are proprietary spares.

At what resolution and refresh rate will the switch drop frames first during long gaming sessions?

The highest supported mode is dual 4K at 60 Hz; 1440p can reach 120 Hz and 1080p can reach 144 Hz, so sustained 4K 60 Hz is the first limit you will hit.
