2-in-2-out DisplayPort MST switch

This unit combines a DisplayPort switch and an MST splitter so two computers can share two monitors. Each source can drive both displays simultaneously in extend or mirror mode. It suits home-office users and developers who move between a desktop and a laptop without re-plugging cables. Buyers needing HDMI or USB-C video inputs cannot use this device.

4K 60 Hz dual-head capacity

The switch accepts one 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz stream from the active computer and replicates it to both outputs at the same refresh rate. Lower resolutions down to 30 Hz are also supported. It does not increase total bandwidth beyond a single 4K 60 Hz link, so three or more monitors are not possible.

Compact metal chassis with wired remote

The 126 x 66 x 19 mm black enclosure sits on a desk and draws power from an included USB cable. Front-panel buttons and the tethered remote both switch the active PC, while LEDs show the current selection. No software or drivers are required on Windows, Mac OS or Linux.

Questions about this item

Will the AUTYUE MST switch work with my older 4K monitors that only run at 30 Hz?

Yes, the switch is backward compatible with 4K at 30 Hz and lower resolutions, so your existing monitors will work.

How do I know the AUTYUE switch has selected the correct computer after I press the wired remote?

The LED on the front panel lights up to show which of the two connected computers is currently active.

Which cables are included with the AUTYUE MST switch and which ones must I buy separately?

The box contains the switch, a USB cable, a wired controller and a manual; you need to purchase two DisplayPort 1.4 cables for the computers and two more for the monitors.
