16-in-2 KVM Dock for Dual 4K Workstations

The AUTYUE SW901 connects two computers to two monitors at 4K 60 Hz, merging keyboards, mice, webcams, headsets, portable drives and wired network links into one switching station. It suits professionals who alternate between a work laptop and a personal desktop without replugging peripherals.

Check host ports, cables and driver readiness

Each computer must provide a USB 3.0 or higher port for the upstream link; Thunderbolt ports work but the unit does not deliver PD charging. Both monitors need DP 1.2 or HDMI 2.0 cables no longer than 3.3 feet for 4K 60 Hz. DisplayLink drivers must be installed and set to auto-start; on macOS the Screen Recording permission has to be granted before video appears.

External 12 V supply powers the switch

A bundled DC 12 V adapter feeds the dock, so the unit adds no load to the host USB ports beyond data signalling. Push-button switching and LED indicators operate from this supply. The compact 5.55 by 3.74 by 1.77 inch enclosure runs silently with no internal fans.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and which cables do I need to add?

The package includes the KVM dock, two USB-A to USB-C cables, a 12 V DC power adapter, a controller and a manual. For 4K 60 Hz video you must supply your own DP 1.2 and HD-MI 2.0 cables no longer than 3.3 feet.

Which version should I pick if I want dual 4K 60 Hz on both macOS and Windows?

The single SW901 model delivers dual 4K 60 Hz over HD-MI and DisplayPort on both operating systems once the DisplayLink driver is installed and Screen Recording permission is granted on macOS.

What does the 4K 60 Hz spec mean once the unit is connected to my laptop?

Each of the two monitor outputs can display 4K resolution at 60 Hz in extended or mirrored mode when you use certified DP 1.2 or HD-MI 2.0 cables and have the DisplayLink driver running.
