USB 3.0 bandwidth and cable limits

The switch supports USB 3.0 data rates up to 5Gbps and is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices. High-speed transfer needs the supplied 1.5m cables or a standard 0.8m USB 3.0 cable between computer and device. Pressing the switch button during active data transfer is not recommended.
