It connects via two USB 3.0 Type-A cables included in the box and requires no external power adapter. The unit is intended for users who want to avoid repeatedly unplugging cables when moving between workstations. It does not support video signals or monitor sharing.

Sustained Data Transfer at 5Gbps

The switcher handles continuous traffic at up to 5Gbps and remains backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices without speed bottlenecks. Because it draws power from the host ports, performance stays stable as long as the connected computers supply sufficient bus current. Heavy mass-storage arrays are not recommended for hot-swapping, as they should be safely ejected before switching to prevent data corruption. LED indicators show the active channel at all times.
