Dual-laptop KVM dock

The KD-E20 is an 11-in-1 KVM docking station that lets two USB-C laptops share two HDMI 2.0 monitors and a full set of peripherals. Each laptop receives up to 100 W charging through its dedicated USB-C port while the switch handles 4K@60 Hz video, 5 Gbps data, Gigabit Ethernet, audio, SD cards and five USB-A ports.

Two-computer workstations

It suits home-office users who alternate between a work and a personal laptop and want instant EDID-emulated switching without unplugging cables. Mac users who need extended desktops across both screens should look elsewhere because macOS does not support MST multi-stream output. Buyers with more than two source computers or with DisplayPort-only monitors will also need a different solution.

Dual 4K@60 Hz over USB-C MST

The decisive specification is dual 4K 60 Hz video delivery through each laptop's single USB-C MST connection. If your laptops and monitors support this mode, the KD-E20 provides two-screen productivity with one-cable docking; if they do not, the second monitor will not show an independent image.

Questions about this item

What cables or adapters come with the KD-E20 and what must I supply?

The KD-E20 includes the docking station itself; you must provide two USB-C laptops, two HDMI monitors, two original laptop power adapters for 100 W charging, and any USB peripherals you wish to share.

Should I choose this model or a different capacity for dual 4K@60 Hz output?

This KD-E20 is the single model that delivers dual 4K@60 Hz over its two HDMI 2.0 outputs when both laptops use full-featured USB-C MST ports.

What does the 11-in-1 label mean when the KD-E20 is connected to my setup?

It means the dock shares 3× USB 3.0, 2× USB 2.0, 1× USB-C, 1× 1G Ethernet, 1× 3.5 mm headset jack, 1× SD card slot and 2× HDMI 2.0 between the two laptops.
