What WebEyes 2.2 does

WebEyes 2.2 is an Internet Explorer plug-in that lets you control text size on web pages instantly. It removes the need to strain while reading and lets you view web content like a book. The tool also enlarges text in web-based e-mail for easier viewing.

Practical limits of the IE plug-in interface

The software works only inside Internet Explorer, so it cannot adjust text in other browsers or applications. Its patented reflow technology redraws each letter at sizes from 4 to 144 point while keeping type sharp and crisp. Horizontal scrolling is eliminated because the reflowed text fits the window width.

Build quality and daily implications

Installation adds a simple toolbar inside the browser, giving one-click access to size controls without extra windows. The lightweight plug-in runs quietly in the background and does not change page layout beyond text scaling. Users who need similar readability help in modern browsers or system-wide will not be served by this Internet Explorer-only utility.

Questions about this item

Which version of WebEyes should I choose?

The only version offered is WebEyes 2.2, an Internet Explorer plug-in for adjustable text sizing.

What does the 144pt maximum mean in practice?

You can enlarge web text up to 144 points with patented reflow technology that keeps letters sharp and removes horizontal scrolling.

What interface does WebEyes 2.2 use and what does it limit?

It runs as an Internet Explorer plug-in, so text scaling and reflow work only inside that browser.
