TV Listening with Open-Ear Comfort

The Avantree Medley Air BTHT-6015 is a wireless headphone system designed for TV viewers who want clear dialogue without blocking ambient sound. The open-ear earbuds rest outside the ear canal, making them suitable for extended sessions and compatible with glasses. A combined Bluetooth transmitter and charging dock connects to the television for a dedicated audio link.

Transmitter Dock Simplifies Installation

Setup requires plugging the dock into a power source and connecting it to the TV using an optical or 3.5 mm audio cable. The headphones pair automatically with the dock once powered on. If using the optical connection, the TV audio output must be set to PCM or Stereo format for sound to transmit correctly. No Wi-Fi network or smartphone app is needed for operation.

Check TV Ports and Head Fit Before Buying

The transmitter only accepts optical or 3.5 mm audio outputs; HDMI ARC passthrough is not supported. Verify your television has a free optical or auxiliary port before ordering. The headband is fixed and non-adjustable, so it may be too small for head circumferences exceeding 63 cm. The rear protrusion can also cause discomfort when leaning back against a headrest.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the Avantree Medley Air BTHT-6015 is working correctly after connecting the dock to my TV?

Connect the dock to your TV's Optical or AUX port, set the TV audio output to PCM Stereo, power on both units and verify they pair automatically; you should hear clear dialogue through the open-ear buds while still hearing room sounds.

What comes in the box with the Avantree Medley Air BTHT-6015 and what must I provide separately?

The package includes the open-ear headphones, a Bluetooth transmitter and charging dock combined, a Type-C charging cable (1 m) and an optical audio cable; you only need a TV with a free Optical (TOSLINK) or 3.5 mm AUX output and a USB power source for the dock.

Which version of the Avantree Medley Air should I choose for my head size?

The Medley Air BTHT-6015 has a fixed, non-adjustable band; it fits heads up to 63 cm (24.8 in) circumference — if you wear XXL hats or larger, this model may be too small.
