Portable Bluetooth Audio Adapter

The Avantree Voyager BTTC-228-BLK is a Bluetooth 5.4 transmitter that plugs into any 3.5 mm auxiliary output. It is designed for travellers who want wireless headphone audio from airplane seat-back systems, gym equipment or laptop ports. A built-in OLED screen shows pairing status, volume level and connected device names at a glance.

Travel-Focused Listeners Only

This adapter suits flyers and commuters who need a single wireless link from a wired source. It does not support dual-headphone streaming in classic mode, so pairs wanting simultaneous listening must use Auracast-compatible headsets. Buyers who need hearing-aid pairing, direct phone or tablet connection, TV audio without a 3.5 mm jack, or musical-instrument monitoring should choose a different product.

Bluetooth 5.4 With Auracast Broadcast

The decisive specification is Bluetooth 5.4 with Qualcomm aptX Adaptive and Auracast broadcast capability. Low-latency, high-quality audio requires headphones that support aptX Adaptive or aptX-HD. Classic Bluetooth connects one headset only, while Auracast mode allows one-to-many streaming to compatible receivers.
