Analogue Phone 8 Card

This expansion card adds eight analogue extension ports to an Avaya IP Office 500 or IP500 V2 control unit. It connects legacy analogue handsets and devices directly to the digital telephone system. The module installs inside the control unit chassis to increase station capacity. It is a new Avaya component identified by part number 700417231.

Installers expanding an IP500 system

Organisations that need to attach additional analogue phones, fax machines or modems to an existing IP500 or IP500 V2 platform will use this card. Sites that have no analogue devices to connect, or that require digital or IP station ports instead, should look at a different expansion module. The card only provides analogue line interfaces.

Eight analogue extension ports

The single specification that determines fit is the provision of exactly eight analogue extension ports for the IP500 and IP500 V2 control units. No other port types or quantities are included on this module. Verifying that the control unit has an available expansion slot for this card is essential before purchase.
