15×55 Monocular for Outdoor Observation

The AVer 15x55 monocular delivers 15× magnification through a 55 mm objective lens, producing an 825 mm focal length and a 5-degree field of view. Its fixed-focus, straight-through optical path suits bird watchers, hunters, hikers and landscape photographers who need a single compact optic for long-distance detail.

55 mm Objective and BAK4 Prism Capacity

The 55 mm aperture gathers ample light for bright daytime images and usable dawn or dusk performance, while the BAK4 prism and fully multi-coated lenses preserve contrast and colour fidelity. Fixed focus limits close-range flexibility, so users needing variable near-to-far adjustment will find the design restrictive.

Tripod and Smartphone Adapter Included

A supplied tripod steadies the 1.0 oz (464 g) unit for extended glassing or timed exposures, and the phone adapter aligns a smartphone camera with the eyepiece for digiscoping. Both accessories attach directly without extra tools, turning the monocular into a stable, shareable imaging platform.

Questions about this item

Will the 15×55 monocular focus easily when I am wearing my existing prescription glasses?

The fixed-focus design and 5-degree field of view are set for unaided eyes; you would need to remove glasses or use the diopter on your phone screen when photographing through the supplied adapter.

How can I confirm the BAK4 prism is delivering the sharp, high-contrast image promised after I set it up?

Point the 55 mm objective at a distant high-contrast edge; the view should show no colour fringing and remain crisp from centre to edge across the 5-degree field.

Does the package include the tripod and phone adapter shown in the photos, or must I buy them separately?

The box contains the 15×55 monocular, a tripod and a smartphone adapter so you can start photographing straight away.
