The AVer AU102 is a passive bi-directional audio switcher that routes stereo signals between 3.5 mm auxiliary and RCA L/R connectors. It lets you connect two source devices to one playback system or one source to two playback systems without external power.

Passive operation under load

Because the unit draws no power, signal integrity depends entirely on the quality of the connected cables and the output impedance of the source equipment. No active buffering or amplification is present, so very long cable runs or low-level sources may exhibit slight level loss compared with a powered distribution amplifier.

Connection flexibility decides fit

The single front-panel selector toggles between the two connected ports, supporting any combination of 3.5 mm and RCA L/R inputs and outputs. Buyers who need simultaneous output to both zones or remote switching will need a different topology.
