AVer av2hdmi Composite to HDMI Converter

The AVer av2hdmi converts analog RCA composite video and stereo audio into an HDMI signal at 720P or 1080P 60Hz. It accepts PAL, NTSC 3.58, NTSC 4.43, SECAM, PAL/M and PAL/N standards. A USB power cable is included for the required 5V supply. The unit weighs .11 kilograms.

Retro Gamers and Legacy AV Users

This converter suits owners of PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Nintendo 64, Wii, VHS, VCR, DVD players or set-top boxes with composite outputs who need to connect to a modern HDTV or monitor. It is not for users requiring component, DVI or SDI connections, nor for those needing an included power adapter.

1080P 60Hz Output Scaling

The maximum output resolution is 1080P at 60Hz. If your display or capture workflow demands higher resolutions, refresh rates or HDR support, this device will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

Will the USB power cable need replacing after heavy use?

The converter draws power through its included USB cable from any 5 V source; the cable itself is a standard USB lead that can be swapped if it frays.

What resolution ceiling appears first during long sessions?

Output is capped at 1080P 60 Hz, so the scaler stops at that resolution even if the source runs continuously.

How warm does the unit get when powered all day?

The aluminium enclosure stays cool to the touch at its 0.11 kg weight, with no fan and no reported thermal throttling.
