Converts analogue RCA composite video and audio to HDMI at 720p or 1080p for retro consoles, VCRs and DVD players
The DigitConvert RZ_89761 changes analogue RCA composite signals — yellow, white and red — into HDMI output at 720P or 1080P for modern TVs and monitors. It is built for owners of legacy consoles, VCRs, DVD players or set-top boxes that still use composite video. The adapter only works in the RCA-to-HDMI direction and cannot reverse the signal path.
A micro-USB power cable is included and must be connected to a 5 V supply for the unit to operate; no separate driver installation is required on the host device. The compact enclosure measures 3.15 in by .38 in by 4.12 in, so it sits discreetly behind a display or inside a media cabinet. Composite source equipment plugs directly into the three RCA ports, freeing the HDMI input on the screen for other sources.
The converter draws modest power from the USB connection and runs without a fan, so it adds no audible noise to the viewing environment. Heat output is low enough that the small case stays only slightly warm during continuous playback. No external power brick is bundled, so a standard USB charger or powered hub completes the installation.

The converter has no fan or moving parts, so it runs silently and stays cool during all-day use.
Yes, the included micro-USB cable must be connected to a 5 V USB adapter (not included) for the unit to function.
You need a device with yellow/white/red composite outputs and an HDTV or monitor with an HDMI input; the converter bridges those two.
