Tab dividers with extra-wide tabs

Avery 11223 tab dividers use white card stock and clear tabs that extend further than standard dividers, giving more space for handwritten or printed labels. The eight-tab set organises a single filing system by subject, date or project. They suit ring binders and filing cabinets that accept 9 x 11 inch inserts.

Extra-wide tabs for high-volume labelling

The generous tab area helps users who need long titles, colour coding or multiple lines of text on each divider. Offices that prefer narrow tabs or pre-printed indexes will not gain the extra writing space these provide. Buyers looking for reinforced edges or coloured tab bodies should consider other styles.

Eight-tab configuration

Each pack contains eight dividers, fixing the number of sections you can create in one binder. If your system needs more or fewer sections, a different tab count is required.

Questions about this item

How does the extra-wide format affect the usable writing space on each tab?

The extra-wide design gives each of the eight tabs more surface area for labels or handwritten titles, making them easier to read at a glance in a busy filing system.

What does the clear tab material mean for visibility and labelling options?

Clear tabs let you see any printed or handwritten inserts placed behind them, so you can use coloured paper, printed labels or direct writing without the tab colour obscuring the text.

What are the physical dimensions of the dividers and will they fit standard A4 or letter binders?

Each divider measures 9 x 11 inches, matching US letter size, so they fit standard three-ring letter binders and compatible filing cabinets without trimming.
