Custom tab dividers for copier-based indexing

Avery 11422 supplies five sets of eight white tabs designed for standard copiers. Users format clear label sheets on a typewriter or copier then apply them to the reinforced tabs. The labels blend into the surface for a printed-on appearance. Each divider is pre-punched for three-ring binders.

Copier-only workflow and label adhesion limits

The system relies on a copier to transfer text onto the clear label sheets; handwritten or inkjet-printed labels are not supported. Labels adhere permanently once pressed onto the tabs, so repositioning is not practical. Reinforced binding edges resist tearing but do not prevent wear from heavy daily flipping. No adhesive backup sheets are included.

Eight tabs per set across five sets

The pack delivers exactly eight tabs in each of the five sets, giving forty tabs total. This fixed tab count determines whether the product matches a project’s section requirements. Buyers needing more or fewer tabs per divider must choose a different configuration.

Questions about this item

How many tab sets are included in the Avery 11422 pack?

The pack contains five sets, each with eight white tabs, giving you a total of forty dividers for large or multiple binders.

What does the clear-label design do once the dividers are in a binder?

The transparent labels sit flush on the premium white tabs and virtually disappear, so the printed text looks as if it were printed directly on the tab.

What copier compatibility does the 8-1/2" x 11" sheet size provide?

The standard letter-size sheets feed through any office copier, letting you photocopy tab titles directly onto the label sheets without special equipment.
