Big Tab Dividers for 3-Ring Binders

Avery 11491 Big Tab Print & Apply Clear Label Dividers provide eight white index tabs with 40% larger labelling area than standard tabs. The clear label strip prints on both laser and inkjet printers and applies in one step for a printed-on appearance. Each divider is 3-hole punched to fit standard ring binders.

Upgrade from Standard-Width Tabs

The wider tabs replace narrower dividers when longer section titles or larger fonts are needed for quick visual scanning. The jump is worth it for projects that demand more readable headings without switching to a landscape layout. Users who only need basic alphabetical or numeric tabs may find standard widths sufficient.

Eight-Tab Capacity for Sectioned Documents

One set supplies eight dividers sized to 8-1/2" x 11" sheets, handling multi-chapter reports, training manuals or client binders with distinct sections. The clear labels virtually disappear after application, keeping the focus on the printed text. Projects requiring more than eight sections will need additional sets.

Questions about this item

Will the 3-hole punched 8-1/2" x 11" dividers fit my standard US ring binder?

Yes, the 3-hole punched sheets match standard US letter binders so they snap in without trimming.

How do I apply the Index Maker Easy Apply label strip without misaligning the tabs?

Print the full strip on a laser or inkjet printer, peel the backing, then press the strip onto the 40% larger tabs in one motion so all eight labels line up at once.

When the clear label strip wears out, can I buy a replacement strip for the same 11491 dividers?

Avery sells separate Index Maker Easy Apply label strips that fit the 11491 divider tabs, letting you refresh labels without replacing the dividers themselves.
