Manila Shipping Tags for High-Volume Shipping

Avery 12505 Manila Shipping Tags provide a smooth writing surface on durable cardstock. The neutral background makes handwritten or printed text stand out for easy reading. Each tag is strung for immediate attachment to packages or inventory items. A reinforced hole prevents the string from tearing through the material during transit.

Upgrade from Loose Tags or Plain Cardstock

Switching to pre-strung tags eliminates the time spent cutting and threading individual strings by hand. The reinforced hole adds durability that plain punched cardstock lacks, reducing the risk of tags detaching mid-shipment. The 1000-count box suits operations that process large daily volumes and need a reliable, ready-to-use supply.

Consistent Performance Across Large Batches

The cardstock maintains its rigidity and the strings stay secured through repeated handling in mail streams. Reinforced holes resist tearing even when packages are stacked or compressed during sorting. The smooth surface accepts ink without feathering, keeping addresses legible from the first tag to the last in the box.

Questions about this item

What size are the 12505 manila shipping tags?

Each tag measures 4-3/4 inches by 2-3/8 inches and the box contains 1000 tags.

How do I attach the strung tags to packages?

The pre-tied string loops through the reinforced hole so you simply pull it around the handle or strap and tighten — do not force the string through the hole a second time or the knot will jam.

Will the reinforced hole hold up if the tag gets wet or handled roughly?

The reinforced eyelet is designed to stop the string from tearing through the manila cardstock during normal shipping handling; it is not waterproof, so prolonged moisture will weaken the cardstock.
