Print-On Index Dividers

Avery 20406 dividers are white index tabs designed for high-speed copiers and offset presses. Each set contains five tabs and the pack supplies 150 tabs in total. Sheets measure 8-1/2 by 11 inches and are three-hole punched for standard binders. Users print directly on the tabs for fast, sharp labelling.

Suited for high-volume document runs

Offices and print shops producing large batches of collated reports will benefit from the double reverse collated format. The product is not intended for handwritten indexing or for printers that cannot handle double reverse collated sheets. Buyers needing fewer than 150 tabs or a different tab count per set should look at other options.

Double reverse collated format

The dividers are supplied double reverse collated, which determines how they feed through high-speed copiers and offset presses. This collation method is the single specification that decides whether the pack matches your equipment and workflow. Verify that your device supports this format before ordering.

Questions about this item

What printer standard do these 20406 tabs support, and what collation does that limit you to?

They are made for high-speed copiers and offset presses, so you can only print double reverse collated or single reverse collated sets.

What physical feature lets the 20406 dividers fit in a standard binder?

Each sheet is three-hole punched to match 8-1/2" x 11" ring binders.

How do you install the printed 20406 tabs, and what step causes jams?

Print the tabs, then insert each divider into the report; skipping the collation setting causes misfeeds in high-speed copiers.
