Margin tabs for books and documents

Avery 74789 Ultra Tabs are 2.5" x 1" white plastic page markers sold in a 24-count pack. The narrow body fits inside standard margins so text stays visible while you bookmark chapters, separate sections or flag follow-up items.

Check page size and adhesive tolerance

Verify that your books, notebooks or printed documents accept a 2.5" x 1" tab without covering critical content. Test your preferred pen, pencil, marker or highlighter on a single tab first because ink dry times vary and some inks may lift.

Durable repositionable plastic

The clear plastic tabs stick securely yet remove cleanly for repeated repositioning. Both sides are smudge-resistant and writable, letting you label from either angle while the transparent body keeps the underlying text readable.

Questions about this item

What comes in the Avery 74789 pack and do I need anything else to start tabbing?

The pack contains 24 white plastic margin tabs measuring 2.5" x 1". They are self-adhesive and writable on both sides, so no extra adhesives or tools are required.

How do I decide between the 24-tab pack and other Ultra Tab styles?

Choose the 24-count Margin Tabs when you need a narrow 2.5" x 1" body that sits inside page margins without covering text; other styles such as Multi-Use, Mini or Filing tabs have different dimensions for other tasks.

What does the 2.5" x 1" size mean when the tabs are on a real page?

The tab extends 2.5 inches from the edge with a 1-inch high writable area, letting you see the text underneath while the narrow body stays inside standard Letter and A4 margins.
