1-Inch Heavy-Duty View Binder

The Avery 79199 is a 1-inch white binder built for heavy-duty office use. It holds approximately 275 sheets of letter-size paper on back-mounted EZD rings. Four clear interior pockets each store up to 20 sheets for loose items. The PVC-free poly cover includes crystal-clear overlays on the front, spine and back for custom inserts.

Easy One Touch Ring Operation

A Locking One Touch mechanism opens, closes and secures the rings with a single action. The Gap Free ring design prevents gapping and misalignment so pages stay aligned. Wider front and back panels fully cover standard dividers and sheet protectors. Nonstick, archival-safe material will not lift ink or toner from printed pages during insertion or removal.

Durable Construction for Daily Use

The DuraHinge spine resists tearing and the DuraEdge sides and top resist splitting under repeated handling. Exposed rivets reinforce the ring attachment to the sturdy chipboard core. Deep texture film provides a smoother finish that withstands frequent opening and closing. Back-mounted rings keep pages lying flat during extended reference sessions.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the rings are locking and lying flat after I set up the binder?

Open the binder with the One Touch lever; the Locking Mechanism should click into place. Verify the back-mounted metal rings close gap-free and that letter-size pages lie flat without misalignment.

What comes inside the box and do I need to buy anything else for the pockets?

The binder includes four clear interior pockets already attached; each holds up to 20 sheets. No separate pocket inserts are required.

Should I choose the 1" version or a different capacity for about 275 sheets?

The 1" EZD rings are rated for approximately 275 sheets, so this capacity matches that volume. If you need significantly more or fewer pages, consider a different ring size.
