12 Inch LCD Writing Tablet

The Avery GY-WT-8502 is a 12 inch LCD writing tablet designed for children aged three to seven. It provides a pressure-sensitive screen for drawing, writing, spelling and playing games. Two styluses with anti-lose strings are included so siblings can share or a spare is always ready. The tablet also functions as a memo board for family notes and reminders.

Battery and Lock Check

Verify that the included CR2025 button cell is seated correctly before first use. The lock switch on the frame must be set to the unlocked position to allow the one-click erase button to clear the screen. If the lock is engaged, the display content is preserved and the erase function will not operate until the switch is released.

Sustained Use Behaviour

The manufacturer states the battery supports up to twelve months of typical use and the screen withstands over 200000 erase cycles. The 50% brighter LCD maintains visible contrast during extended drawing sessions without fading. The lightweight frame and fixed stylus tethers keep the tablet functional during repeated daily handling by young children.
