Complete Pottery Kit for Children

The Avery NO.XJ804 kit provides a mini pottery wheel, sculpting tools, two packs of air-dried clay, twelve colours of paint, glaze, two brushes, a sponge, a palette and an apron. It is designed for children aged six to thirteen who want a hands-on craft experience. Everything needed to start shaping and decorating clay is included in the box.

Adjustable Speed with Foot Pedal Control

The wheel offers adjustable speed settings and a foot pause pedal so young users can control rotation without using their hands. Air-dried clay removes the need for a kiln, letting finished pieces harden naturally. The motor includes thermal overload protection that stops the wheel if excessive pressure is applied, preventing damage during enthusiastic use.

Mains-Powered Operation with Removable Splash Tray

The unit runs from a standard power cord, so there is no battery to charge and performance stays consistent throughout a session. A removable splash tray catches excess clay and water, making cleanup quick with the included sponge. The compact 1.17 kg footprint fits on a table or desk, leaving space for the supplied paints and tools during creative play.

Questions about this item

Can the 1.17 kg wheel stay stable on the same table where we already keep modelling tools and paints?

The compact wheel weighs 1.17 kg and includes a removable splash tray, so it sits firmly on a craft table alongside existing supplies without sliding during use.

How do I know the adjustable-speed motor and foot pedal are operating correctly after first assembly?

Plug in the power cord, select a speed setting, press the foot pedal and the wheel should spin smoothly; release the pedal and it pauses instantly, confirming both controls work.

Which items come in the box and what extra materials must I purchase separately?

The box contains the mini wheel, sculpting tools, two packs of air-dry clay, 12 colours, glaze, two brushes, sponge, palette and apron — only additional clay or paint refills need buying later.
