Avery Transparent double sided tape gen-2

This pack contains two rolls of clear double-sided tape totalling 20 feet, with widths of .5 inch and 1 inch and a thickness of .07 inch. The epoxy-based adhesive bonds to smooth surfaces such as metal, tile, glass, wood and plastic. It is designed for indoor and outdoor mounting tasks.

Sustained hold on smooth surfaces

The nano-gel material maintains its grip across a temperature range of 0 to 150 and resists water exposure. Press each bond firmly for 60 seconds to achieve full contact. Heavier objects require more tape area to distribute the load and prevent failure over time.

Check your surface before ordering

Do not apply to painted walls, powdery, wet, dirty or uneven substrates, as these will reduce adhesion and may cause paint damage on removal. The tape leaves no residue on smooth, clean surfaces but is unsuitable for rough or porous materials. Ensure the mounting area is flat and free of debris.

Questions about this item

How much heat can the epoxy tape withstand during continuous outdoor exposure?

The tape works perfectly in a temperature range of 0 to 150, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use all day.

What surface preparation is required before applying the 0.5-inch or 1-inch strips?

Surfaces must be smooth, clean, dry and free of paint, powder or dirt; press heavily for 60 seconds after pasting for best adhesion.

Will the nano gel adhesive damage the paint on older plaster walls if I remove mounted items?

Do not use on painted walls because the paint may be torn off when removing the tape or hanging heavy objects.
