Classroom-ready headset

The Avid AE-55 is a wired stereo headset built for education environments. It connects via a 3.5mm mini-phone plug and delivers a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response at 32 Ohm impedance. The over-the-head design with binaural ear coupling suits students and educators needing a reliable audio tool for testing and daily lessons.

Sustained comfort for long sessions

Padded earcups and an adjustable headband are sized to fit most head sizes during extended use. A chew-resistant nylon-braided cord withstands daily classroom handling without fraying. The six-foot cable length gives freedom of movement while staying tethered to the device during assessments or remote learning.

Passive noise control and flexible mic

Circumaural earcups provide passive isolation to help users focus in busy rooms. The boom microphone rotates 270 degrees for left or right placement and offers bi-directional and uni-directional pickup with noise-cancelling performance. No batteries or software are required; the analog connection works instantly with any 3.5mm jack.
