Avocent Cyclades ACS 16-Port Console Server

The Avocent Cyclades ACS 16-Port is a 1U rack-mountable console server designed for serial device management. It provides 16 serial ports with 10Mbps Ethernet connectivity for out-of-band access to network infrastructure. The unit supports RAID 1+0 for data redundancy and is supplied in new condition.

Suited For IT Managers and Remote Administrators

This console server suits IT managers who need secure, remote serial console access to routers, switches and servers from a central location. It is not for buyers who require integrated KVM switching, higher Ethernet speeds, or a larger number of serial ports than the 16 provided.

16 Serial Ports with 10Mbps Ethernet

The defining specification is the combination of 16 serial ports and a single 10Mbps Ethernet uplink. This port count and network speed determine how many devices can be managed concurrently and the bandwidth available for console sessions.
