Dual DVI KVM for eight systems

The Avocent SC780-001 is an 8-port secure KVM switch that drives two DVI monitors from each connected computer. It supports dual-link DVI-I video at 2560 x 1600 and provides USB keyboard and mouse ports plus analogue audio in and out. The unit operates at 7.2 W and fits a standard 17-inch wide rack space.

Suited for multi-head secure desktops

This switch serves operators who must control eight separate computers across dual displays without sharing peripherals between security domains. It is not for environments that require DisplayPort, HDMI or single-monitor configurations, nor for setups needing more than eight ports or KVM-over-IP remote access.

2560 x 1600 dual-link DVI limit

The maximum supported resolution is 2560 x 1600 over dual-link DVI-I, so any source or display exceeding that resolution will not work at its native mode. Verify that every connected computer and monitor operates within this limit before deployment.
