Secure 4-Port KVM Switch

The Vertiv Cybex SC945DP-001 is a 4-port secure desktop KVM switch designed for government agencies and security-conscious organisations. It allows users to control multiple computers operating at different classification levels from a single peripheral set. The switch provides continuous access to critical data while guarding against desktop cyber intrusion.

NIAP PP 3.0 Certification

This model meets the NIAP Protection Profile for Peripheral Sharing Switch version 3.0, the single specification that verifies it isolates connected systems. Certification ensures data cannot leak between ports, making the switch suitable for environments handling classified or sensitive information. Buyers who do not require validated cross-domain isolation should consider a standard KVM instead.

Dedicated Peripheral & CAC Ports

A dedicated peripheral port enables secure connection of CAC readers and other authentication devices without compromising port isolation. A separate CAC port supports user authentication workflows directly at the console. These bundled ports remove the need for external USB hubs that could weaken the security boundary.

Questions about this item

What does 4K UHD at 30 Hz mean for my monitor?

The switch passes a single ultra-high-definition picture at up to 30 frames per second, so the connected display shows 4K resolution with motion limited to that refresh rate.

How does the NIAP PP 3.0 certification affect daily use?

It confirms the switch meets government-grade security rules for isolating four computers, preventing data leakage between classification levels while you work.

What cables and space do I need to install this 4-port unit?

You need four DisplayPort cables for video, four USB cables for keyboard and mouse, plus a power adapter; the desktop chassis sits on a flat surface.
