Wireless magnetic contact alarm kit

The Avue SF19-Alarm pack contains ten battery-powered sensors that sound a 110 dB siren when a door or window opens. Each unit measures 2.5 by 2 by 1.6 inches and weighs 35 grams. The system is designed for home, garage, RV, warehouse, cabinet or freezer use.

Check mounting gap and surface before ordering

The sensor and magnet must sit within 0.39 inch of each other with their alignment arrows matched. A clean, flat surface is required for the supplied double-sided tape to hold securely on sliding, crank, hung or other door and window types.

Four operating modes and included power

LR44 alkaline cells ship installed so every unit works immediately. A mode switch selects General Alarm, Constant Alarm, Closing-door Alert or Doorbell chime, while a low-battery beep warns when the cells need replacement.

Questions about this item

What comes in the 10-pack and do I need to buy batteries separately?

The pack includes ten alarm units, ten LR44 batteries and double-sided adhesive tape for mounting, so no separate battery purchase is required.

Which of the four operating modes should I choose for a front door that needs a loud siren when opened?

Select General Alarm or Constant Alarm mode; both trigger the 110 dB siren when the magnetic contact separates, while Doorbell mode only plays a chime and Closing-door Alert beeps when the door is left ajar.

How loud is 110 dB in practice and will it be heard through a closed bedroom door?

At 110 dB the alarm is comparable to a chainsaw at close range and will easily penetrate interior walls and closed doors to alert anyone inside the home.
