Purpose & User

The Avue T90M0 Motion Sensor E20 is a passive infrared security device designed for homeowners who want pet-friendly intrusion alerts without frequent battery changes. It suits households with animals up to 80 lb that need reliable monitoring of gardens, driveways or interior spaces.

Range & Limits

The sensor detects human motion up to 26 ft away across a 90° field of view when mounted at 6 to 7.5 ft height. Wireless reach extends to 656 ft (200 m) in open air to a compatible HomeBase, but it cannot operate without HomeBase Mini v4.0.5.2+, HomeBase 2 v3.4.1.2+ (post-2021), HomeBase 3 v3.7.2.6+ or HomeBase Pro v4.1.4.3+.

Build & Daily Use

A 1,400mAh CR123A lithium cell targets a 5-year service life at temperatures up to 35°C. The compact body (1.83 x 2.3 x 3.15 cm) mounts on walls or corners with no extra alignment needed, and tamper detection sends an immediate alert if the unit is removed or disabled.
