Motion sensing light control

The Avue WESTEK MLC4BC is a plug-in motion activated control that automatically turns connected lights or appliances on when movement is detected. It suits homeowners wanting hands-free illumination in hallways, basements or garages without rewiring.

Check your setup before ordering

You need a free mains socket and a lamp or appliance with a standard plug; the unit is floor-mount only and rated for indoor use. It operates LED, incandescent and CFL bulbs, and the sensor covers a 100-degree radius up to 25 feet with selectable auto-off times of 1, 2, 5, 10 or 20 minutes.

Replaces manual switching

This device upgrades any standard lamp to motion-activated operation, removing the need to find switches in darkness. The jump is worth it where convenience or safety outweighs always-on lighting, but it does not suit buyers who want programmable dusk-to-dawn schedules or outdoor-rated sensors.
