Keyless entry with fingerprint

The Awair 190BT smart door lock provides keyless entry through fingerprint, keypad passcode, NFC card and mechanical key options. It connects via WiFi for app-based control and suits front doors, bedrooms or apartments. The lock is designed for wooden doors between 1.18 and 1.97 inches thick and installs without drilling or wiring.

Battery powered with emergency USB

A rechargeable battery powers the unit and a USB port accepts an external power bank for emergency unlocking if the battery is depleted. The port does not recharge the internal cells. Fingerprint recognition unlocks in 0.5 seconds and the auto-lock function secures the door after a pre-set interval. The lock weighs 1.2 pounds and measures 6 by 8 by 2.8 inches.

App management and access sharing

The companion app enables remote passcode generation, permanent or temporary access assignment and entry log tracking. A silent mode disables audible feedback for privacy. Two backup keys are included for mechanical override. The lock fits left or right swing doors and requires administrator fingerprint registration before first use.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 190BT on a wooden door, and what step must I not skip?

The lock fits 1.18"-1.97" thick wooden doors, left or right swing, with no drilling or wiring. Before first use you must register an administrator fingerprint; until that is done any fingerprint will unlock the door.

What maintenance will the rechargeable battery need later?

The internal battery is rechargeable and cannot be charged through the USB port — that port is only for emergency power from an external power bank. Recharge the internal pack when the app or lock indicates low power.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the fingerprint reader?

The biometric sensor unlocks in 0.5 seconds with 99.7% accuracy using 360° Live Fingerprint ID; the first practical limit is battery depletion, since the USB port does not recharge the internal cells.
