Four unlock methods

This Awair PRO smart door knob offers four ways to enter: fingerprint recognition storing up to 20 prints, 20 personalised passwords, app control within Bluetooth range, and two mechanical backup keys. The lock suits bedrooms, apartments, garages and offices where keyless convenience is wanted without a separate gateway. Renters and homeowners alike can manage access locally.

Local biometric security

Fingerprint data stays 100 percent on the device with no cloud storage, and the sensor recognises a print in 0.2 seconds with 99.9 percent accuracy. A self-learning algorithm improves speed over time, while the lock body measures 3.93 L x 9.05 W x 9.05 H inches and weighs 0.748 kilograms. The rechargeable battery powers auto-locking five seconds after each unlock.

Rechargeable battery only

The unit runs solely on its built-in rechargeable battery; there is no provision for disposable cells or hard-wired power. Buyers who need a lock that accepts standard alkaline batteries or a wired supply should choose a different model. The package includes the cover, installation hardware and the lock with keys.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Awair PRO lock and which step is often missed?

Use the supplied installation hardware to fit the 3.93 L x 9.05 W x 9.05 H inch body; the step people skip is enrolling at least one fingerprint before relying on auto-lock.

What maintenance will the Awair PRO need later?

Recharge the built-in battery when the app shows low status; no cloud backup exists, so keep the 2 mechanical backup keys safe for emergencies.

What limit appears first during sustained use of the Awair PRO?

The lock stores only 20 fingerprints and 20 passwords, so capacity for new users is the first constraint you will hit.
