A 10GBASE-T SFP+ copper transceiver coded for Dell 407-BCVF compatibility
The Axiom 407-BCVF-AX is a copper SFP+ transceiver designed for 10GbE links over twisted-pair cabling. It is pre-coded for Dell equipment and built to the multi-sourcing agreement so it fits any MSA-compliant SFP+ port.
Suitable for administrators who need short-reach copper connectivity in existing SFP+ slots without replacing switches. Not for links that require fibre media, direct-attach cables, or speeds beyond 10G; buyers needing longer reach than copper allows should consider other media.
The module carries part number 407-BCVF-AX and matches OEM number 407-BCVF for drop-in compatibility. It is fully MSA-compliant and serialised to prevent identification conflicts in mixed-vendor networks.
Measured against everything we stock in SFP & SFP+ Transceiver Modules, at today’s prices. Recalculated every night.

Check the switch or router port status for a 10 Gbps link and confirm the module serial number appears without errors in the device inventory.
The transceiver module itself is supplied; compatible copper patch cables and an MSA-compliant SFP+ port on the host device are required separately.
The 407-BCVF-AX is a single 10 Gbps copper SFP+ variant pre-coded for Dell equipment and covers that deployment.
