Four-port PCIe 2.1 x4 NIC

The Axiom 593722-B21-AX is a quad-port 10/100/1000Base-T network adapter that plugs into a PCI Express 2.1 x4 slot. It provides four RJ-45 connections over twisted-pair cabling in a low-profile plug-in card form factor designed for server deployment.

Suits servers needing four copper links

This card fits administrators who want to add four gigabit Ethernet ports through a single x4 expansion slot. It is not intended for workstations that lack a compatible PCIe 2.1 x4 slot or for installations requiring fibre uplinks instead of RJ-45 copper ports.

PCI Express 2.1 x4 host interface

The x4 lane connection determines both physical fit and the aggregate bandwidth available to the four 10/100/1000Base-T ports. Verify that the target server offers an open PCIe 2.1 x4 slot before ordering.

Questions about this item

Will the 5.9" by 2.2" card with 0.6" width fit my server chassis?

The card measures 5.9 inches long, 2.2 inches deep and 0.6 inches wide; verify your server has a low-profile or full-height slot with that clearance.

How do I install the PCI Express 2.1 x4 interface correctly?

Align the x4 edge connector with a PCIe x4 or larger slot, press firmly until the bracket screw hole lines up, then secure the bracket screw — skipping the screw leaves the card unseated.

When should I replace the four RJ-45 ports or the card itself?

Replace the card if any of the four RJ-45 ports fail to link at 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps after cable and switch testing; the 3-year limited warranty covers defects.
