  • PCI Express 2.1 x4 host interface delivers four lanes of bandwidth
  • Plug-in card form factor fits standard server slots
  • Compact 5.9" × 2.2" × 0.6" dimensions suit dense chassis
  • 84 oz lightweight design reduces mechanical strain

Quad-port RJ45 server NIC

The Axiom 647594-B21-AX adds four 10/100/1000Base-T connections through a single PCI Express 2.1 x4 slot. It is built for servers that need extra copper Ethernet links for segmentation or redundancy. The plug-in card fits a standard low-profile bracket.

Check slot and bracket clearance

Verify the server has a free PCIe x4 or larger slot running at Gen 2.1 or better. The card measures 5.9 inches by 2.2 inches with a 0.6-inch profile, so confirm the chassis can accept that length and height. No auxiliary power connector is present.

Sustained multi-port throughput

Each port negotiates up to 1000 Mbps over twisted pair, and the x4 host interface provides enough aggregate bandwidth to keep all four links active under continuous load. The 3.84 oz board relies on system airflow for cooling during extended operation.

Questions about this item

What ports and cables come with the Axiom 647594-B21-AX quad-port card?

The card provides four RJ45 ports for twisted-pair cable. No cables or brackets are included in the package.

Should I choose a different port count or speed for my server?

This model is fixed at four ports running at 10/100/1000Base-T; other port counts or speeds would require a different card.

What does the 1000 Mbps rating mean once the card is installed in a server?

Each port can negotiate up to 1000 Mbps over twisted pair, giving four independent gigabit links when connected to a compatible switch.
