A 40 G QSFP+ cable splits into four 10 G SFP+ links over ten metres

  • 40 Gbps aggregated bandwidth with QSFP+ to 4× SFP+ breakout
  • 10 metre passive twinax reach for rack-to-rack links
  • Avaya-qualified compatibility for plug-and-play deployment
  • Direct-attach copper construction reduces latency and power draw

40G QSFP+ Breakout Cable 10m

This 10 metre direct attach cable splits a single 40G QSFP+ port into four 10G SFP+ connections. It suits network engineers linking a 40G switch uplink to multiple 10G server or storage ports. The Avaya-compatible passive twinaxial assembly arrives ready for immediate deployment.

Tool-free hot-plug installation

The QSFP+ and SFP+ ends latch into standard cages without screws or software configuration. Passive twinaxial copper limits reach to the supplied 10 metre length, so runs beyond 33 feet require active optics or transceivers. Verify that the host equipment supports 40GBASE-CR4 breakout mode before ordering.
