Axiom LC/LC multimode fibre 100 m

This Axiom LCLCMD6O100M-AX cable provides a 100 metre (328 ft) duplex link using 62.5/125 µm multimode fibre. It terminates in LC male connectors on both ends and carries an orange jacket rated for OM1 performance. The assembly suits network equipment that requires a clip-on LC interface.

Before ordering check your patch panel

Verify that the equipment on each end accepts LC male connectors and is designed for 62.5/125 µm multimode operation. Confirm the link distance does not exceed the OM1 bandwidth limit for your data rate. Ensure the orange jacket meets any colour-coding rules in your installation.

Lifetime warranty covers the cable

The manufacturer backs the assembly with a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. No software, adapters or additional accessories are bundled with the cable. The clip-on connectors simplify insertion and removal during maintenance.

Questions about this item

Does the cable arrive with both LC connectors already fitted, or do I need to buy plugs separately?

The cable is supplied as a complete assembly with two LC male connectors on each end, so no extra connectors are required.

Why choose the 100 metre orange OM1 version instead of a shorter or different-colour cable?

The 100 metre length and orange jacket identify this as a 62.5/125 µm OM1 multi-mode patch lead for longer indoor runs where that core size is specified.

What does the 62.5/125 µm core/cladding figure mean for actual network use?

It defines the fibre as OM1 multi-mode, suited for LED-based links such as 1 GbE over the full 100 metre length.
