Axiom OM3 MPO Female Duplex Cable

This 19.69 ft multimode fibre assembly uses 50/125 µm OM3 cable with MPO female connectors on both ends. The aqua jacket identifies the OM3 rating and the construction is flame retardant with locking latches for secure mating.

Suited for high-density patch panels

Installers connecting MPO-based transceivers or cassettes in multimode environments will find the correct polarity and connector gender here. Builders who require single-mode fibre, LC or SC terminations, or a different core size should select another cable type.

OM3 50/125 µm multimode core specification

The 50/125 µm core/cladding diameter defines the modal bandwidth and reach for short-range multimode applications. Verify that your transceivers and link budget are designed for this fibre grade before deployment.

Questions about this item

Does the cable arrive with both MPO female connectors already terminated, or do I need to buy connectors separately?

Both ends are factory-terminated with MPO female connectors; nothing extra is required for the fibre connection itself.

Should I pick this OM3 50/125 µm cable or a different grade for my link?

Choose OM3 50/125 µm when your equipment calls for aqua-jacketed multimode fibre for the distance you are running.

What does the 19.69 ft length mean once the cable is routed in a rack?

The 19.69 ft span gives roughly six metres of usable reach between patch panels or transceivers after slack management.
